Dear guests!

 

 

To make your stay at the Hotel Insel der Sinn GmbH & Co. KG, we kindly ask you to read the following house rules.

 

 

Access / key card

 

When you check in, you will be issued with a lanyard / key card for each room and handed in at reception on departure. 

 

Arrival/Departure

 

Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. To ensure a smooth transition between arrival and departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. Late check out is only possible after prior consultation and availability against payment.

 

 

Billing and payment

 

Basically at check in, otherwise by arrangement. Payment is made in cash or by payment card (ATM, MasterCard, Visa) Foreign currency is not accepted.

 

 

Rooms

 

The rooms are fully equipped with e.g. bed linen, towels, hairdryer, TV etc. We ask you to take care of the entire inventory. When leaving the room, please close all windows and doors. Please keep the fly screens closed, especially in windy and stormy weather.

 

 

Restaurant / Breakfast

 

From 8:00 - 11:00 a rich breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant. In addition to the restaurant and fireplace room, our breakfast terrace (facing east) and our lakeside terrace are also available in fine weather. We only accept table reservations for breakfast or dinner on special occasions such as weddings or birthdays. There is free choice of seats.

 

 

Parking lot

 

The parking lot in front of the hotel is available for our guests to park their cars for the duration of their stay. Parking here is free of charge for our overnight guests. The marked parking spaces with charging station for electric vehicles must be kept free outside the charging process. Cars and other motor vehicles longer than 5.50m may only park in the upper parking lot.

 

 

 

Pets

 

Out of consideration for allergy sufferers, dogs are only permitted in the rooms designated for this purpose. However, dogs are not allowed in the bed or on the couch in these rooms. Heavy soiling by dogs will be charged with a lump sum of 100,00 EUR.

The customer/guest who has rented the room is liable for any damage caused by dogs.

 

 

Cancellation conditions

 

Cancellation conditions for accommodation services for individual bookings (up to three rooms) are staggered as follows:

• up to 2 weeks before arrival date free of charge,
• up to 7 days before arrival date 60%
• up to 2 days before arrival date 80%
• thereafter 100%

 

In each case, 6 p.m. on the day of cancellation applies.

 

• Group bookings or bookings of events or pure gastronomic services are subject to special cancellation deadlines,
• up to 2 weeks before the service date free of charge,
• up to 7 days before the service date 60%
• thereafter 100%

 

A reduction in the number of persons by max. 20% of the booked number of persons is free of charge up to 4 days before the event, after that 100% will be charged. 

 

Smoking

 

Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms and spaces. Smoking tobacco or similar stimulants is permitted in the designated areas at the stairway to the south beach and in front of the hotel entrance as well as on the lower restaurant lakeside terrace.

 

The consumption of cannabis or other hemp products is prohibited without exception on the entire hotel premises.

 

 

Night rest

 

From 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., all rooms, corridors and outdoor areas are closed at night. We expect you to treat other guests and residents with respect. After 10 p.m., noise must be avoided when leaving and returning to the rooms out of consideration for other guests and neighbors. Failure to respect the night's rest can lead to immediate eviction. 

 

Damage/pollution

 

In the event of damage to or soiling of the building, inventory or other facilities, or in the event of loss of the key card or lanyard or non-compliance with the smoking ban, the damage incurred must be compensated by the party responsible.

Compensation payments must be made immediately (in the case of groups, accompanying persons, possibly representing the organizer, must pay in advance). Theft and willful damage to property will be reported immediately.

In the event of breaches of one or more of the above regulations, we are entitled to terminate the accommodation contract at any time without notice. The guest's obligation to pay for the booked overnight stays remains unaffected.

 

 

Visitors

 

Receiving visitors in the rooms is only permitted in exceptional cases and only with the consent of the management until 8 p.m. at the latest. 

 

 

Valuables

 

 

We expressly accept no liability for the loss of valuables (especially jewelry and cash). Please use the room safe if necessary.

 

 

 

Escape routes/exits

 

Please adhere to the fire safety regulations. The escape route plan can be found on the room door in each room. Emergency exits, escape routes and fire extinguishers are marked with appropriate signs in the individual fire compartments. Stairs and corridors must always be kept clear as escape routes. The escape meeting point is on the far left of the parking lot as seen from the hotel.

 

 

 

Internet

 

Wifi internet is freely available throughout the hotel. The bandwidth is intended for normal use in any case! When using the WLAN, the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young people must be observed. Violations must be reported. In particular, the use of file sharing programs and illegal video streaming portals is prohibited. 

 

Access to company premises

 

Entering the business premises is prohibited. The Hotel Insel der Sinne GmbH & Co. KG shall not be liable for damage caused by disregard of the house rules, any other rules of use or by non-compliance with the instructions of the staff, by other own fault of the injured party or by unavoidable events or force majeure, in particular also by interference by third parties. Contributory negligence leads to a corresponding apportionment of damages.

 

 

Miscellaneous

 

Changes to the General House Rules are possible at any time.
